I do look for an inexpensive scanner to buy. Can you give me a good advise
for the choice. From the SANE documentation I do know, that the backend
drivers are at different level of development. Since I do not know them,
it is hard for me to make a choice.
The hardware description of my computer:
- SCSI interface, aha1542cp
- printer port, SPP standard only
- ISA bus only
Minor question:
Is there a scanner, which does run on a printer port in SPP mode?
