E.B : Hello john !
umax 1220S
It is the cheapest ( 100 $ or 100 euro in France bought last week)
But, nothing is perfect, I get the Umax with a old db25 connector.
It is OK for the Umax card, but the Tekram 310 card have the new
connector scsi .

E.B. Thank you very much Oliver, I appreciate your job !

With my stupid connector problem, the Umax is Working fine on his own card

So, I use two card . . . it is OK, working fine !

Susette:/home/moi # cat /proc/scsi/scsi
Attached devices:
Host: scsi0 Channel: 00 Id: 06 Lun: 00
Vendor: SAMSUNG Model: WN34324U (gm030) Rev: 0105
Type: Direct-Access ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Host: scsi1 Channel: 00 Id: 05 Lun: 00
Vendor: UMAX Model: Astra 1220S Rev: V1.3
Type: Scanner ANSI SCSI revision: 02

But ....................

Susette:/home/moi # find-scanner
find-scanner: found scanner "UMAX Astra 1220S V1.3" at device /dev/sg1
find-scanner: found scanner "UMAX Astra 1220S V1.3" at device /dev/sgb

Which is the good one ? :-) sgb I suppose ?

Thank you for the anwser, and excuse the poor english of a french medical
doctor ( working with Suse 6.1and xscanimage + gimp) --
