Tom, from what you sent in, it looks like the now-typical problem of not
setting the size of the scan window (the defaults are unfortunately 0x0).
Try the x, y, l, w options to scanimage.
Hmm, from the number of people that get caught on this point, it looks like
it's time to kick out a backend revision which fixes this at least....
(Hey, perhaps it would also help in general if some mention of x, y, l, w
were made in the scanimage man page? These options are pretty ubiquitously
used by all devices, but no mention or hint of their existence is in the
man page.)
