I did a 'configure' and 'make install' of gtk+970418-davidm and then a
'configure' and 'make' of sane-0.54 but it does not build the X11
frontends.
It seems not to have recognized libgtk and libgdk. They are also
missing in frontend/Makefile.
Do I miss something, too?
(I have RedHat 4.1 with linux-2.1.29, libc-5.4.23)
Does this output from 'configure' help:
