Both scanners have the same ids. Here is more information and some photos about the 40420. The scanners look similar to the Microtek 4900. Other reports indicate that it's similar to the Microtek 5800 because that scanner has USB2 while the 4900 has only USB 1.1 and the 5800 comes with TA. The USB ids are not identical in both cases, however.
