Hi,

I uploaded a first version of the separate frontend package
with xcam and xscanimage to the sane CVS.

You find it in the subdir "sane-frontends".

Please test this package on all systems you have access to.
There still may be some unused files or functions.

If everything works fine I will remove the files for xcam and
xscanimage from the backend package.
