    Dear All,

I am a Newbie to your list, so please excuse me, but...

A few weeks ago I bought a "Relisys Scorpio Super 3 SCSI II" scanner
*cheaply* in a sale at a local shop and have got it working (more or
less) under Window$ 95 on my wife's machine.

I would prefer to attach it to my Linux box and run it under SANE.

A quick search on the web resulted in a pointer to a posting on this
mailing list dated "Sat, 10 Apr 1999 18:56:09 -0600 (MDT)" in which
Tyler Bindon <martica@martica.org> mentioned "I've been working on the
back-end for the Relisys/Teco lines, and have got things working
pretty darn good for 24bit color scans at low resolutions".

I haven't yet been able to contact Tyler by email but a search though
the 1.0.3 source tree hasn't yet turned up anything about Relisys
    support.

    Has Tyler's embryonic Relisys support:

    a) died a quiet death,

    b) not been merged into the "release" tree,

    c) none of the above ;-)

Any answers, advice, tips, pointers etc. gratefully accepted.

I am not adverse to programming.

    Greetings

    Mark Plowman
