New Scanner That Works

I have a ScanJet 5100Cse that works with the HP backend. You do need to
use the patch at www.torque.net/parport to add EPST support to your
kernel. Otherwise, it acts like a normal SCSI scanner, and works like a
charm... The scan could go a little faster, but that's nitpicking. It's
not your fault anyways, it's the EPST driver. It is beta now, maybe the
release version will be faster. Oh well. It does produce a usable image,
though! Just thought I'd tell you about my new addition to the working
HP scanner list......
