I have downloaded Sane 1.00 and the Umax patch but I cannot compile =
completely. The compile seems to stop with the following message: =
recursive error 1, Make all
I am using Caldera Open Linux 1.3.
These are the steps I have followed:
Extract the tarball.
./configure
cpsane the umax patch
make
I then receive the error message
Make install
Of course it does not work.
I have tried eliminating the additional backends from the backends =
makefile and makefile.in but it still only partially compiles and stops =
with the same message.
Any help would be appreciated. Also when should Gimp be installed? At =
which stage?
