after a lot of work and some tests it looks like
I solved some old problems:
- qualtiy calibration works
- preview patch is not necessary any more
Please could you download the current patch from my
homepage: http://www.wolfsburg.de/~rauch/sane/sane-umax.html
Then please disable the preview patch and do some color-scans
(real scans, no previews) in different resolutions. Please take
a look at the scanned image if it looks ok!
If I don't hear anything negative,
I will remove the preview-patch for the next sane-version!
