OK, I just made sane-0.62 available. Along with it, I also updated
the GTK+ tar ball. It's all available at:

ftp://ftp.azstarnet.com/pub/linux/axp/sane/

The files are:

11347 Jul 26 22:21 gtk+970606-davidm.diff.gz
642086 Jul 26 22:26 gtk+970606-davidm.tar.gz
1063 Jul 27 00:14 sane-0.62.lsm
350306 Jul 27 00:13 sane-0.62.tar.gz
38574 Jul 27 00:14 sane-0.61-0.62.diff.gz

If you're having troubles with anonymous ftp from azstarnet, you can
find the GTK+ files at:

ftp://cage.cs.arizona.edu/pub/davidm/

and the sane-0.62 files should show up on sunsite and tsx-11 shortly
(see SANE home page for URLs).

The new GTK+ tar ball is there to fix the few bugs that caused
problems when building it under Linux. I also fixed a couple of
off-by-one and rounding bugs in the GTK curve widget.

sane-0.62 has many bug fixes and is hopefully easier to build than
previous versions. I'd appreciate if people could give it a shot and
let me know if there is anything that's confusing with respect to
building and installing SANE. This version also fixes the performance
problem that existed with 3-pass Mustek scanners.

Enjoy,
