I made patch for sane-0.6, but not tested well.
For these 3 separate patches, I need testers.
(Last announce in this mailing list did not bring me enough testers.)

Can you help, or already fixed?

A. xscanimage's preview does not handle scanline padding
in B/W depth one image.
(frontend/preview.c)
B. Changes for HP scanjet to work in devicepixel mode.
Mainly for scanjet 5p, but should work with other scanjet scanners.
Please test compatibility with other models.
(backend/hp.c)
C. porting to FreeBSD.
Not complete for autoconf, and only tested with HP backend.
(backend/dll.c, backend/umax-scsi.c, lib/getopt.c, sanei/sanei_scsi.c)
