Looking at the documentation I think it should be possible
connecting Sane from a Java application/applet by using the network
interface.
Therefor my question: Is the network interface "documented" or subject
to changes? (From looking into the sources it looks pretty promising).
Would be cool to have an application/applet running which can talk to
various cams and scanners. Well I know, network and scanners would be
quite hard because of the huge amount of data, but connecting
interfaces like the QuickCam or similar devices would be neat.
Anybody thought about that?
