    i'd rather go with epson ( i have epson stylus printer i happy with! )
    but from webpage at xsane I understand that the xsane backend for epson
    is alpha? and might not work?..

    whereas hp backend looks right on.....

    i want usb and for epson that means either perfection 636U,610,1200U or
    1200 photo...

    anyone having good luck with any of these?
