    Hi,

I am STILL trying to get the my scanner to work! This time it is the Agfa Snapscan 1212U_2 USB scanner.

I have tried almost everything (including screwing up my system with a kernel 2.2.18!). I went back to 2.2.17!
Here is what may help. the kernel is Mandrake 7.2 (2.2.17-21mdk)

    [hankey@ceri2 SnapScan]$ LoadAgfa

I am using the snapscan sources from snapscan-20010411.tar.gz and xsane-0.75.tar.gz with
    sane-backends-1.0.4

Under gimp (1.1) I only get the Device Dialog and no choice of scanner devices.

    Any help would be welcome!
