xsane crashes

    Hi,

    xsane always crashes with 'Speicherzugriffsfehler' after a preview scan
    over the net was made. If I start xsane on the host with the scanner
    connected, everything is ok. The real scan over the net works.
    I'm using SuSE 7.0, sane 1.0.4, xsane 0.72 and 0.71, the latest snapscan
    source from sourceforge.net (snapscan28102000). My scanner is an Agfa
    Snapscan 310.

    any idea ?
