    Hi!

It compiles and runs fine on a Athlon and P54C both with RockLinux
    1.3.9, Kernel 2.4.0-test10 and glibc 2.1.3 here.

The GIMP (1.1.28) plugin works, too.

    But I have one question:
Is it a known bug, that xscanimage segfaults when it uses the net
backend and you stop working with it for a few minutes? - When I use
it a few hours there is no problem. But when I leave it alone for a
few minutes (5??) to get new tea - it crashes on the next mouse klick or
    gtk-exposure event ... Backtrace:

Program received signal SIGSEGV, Segmentation fault.
