    Hi,

    I think the documentation (manpage of scanimage) is not got at
    the point, it does not explain at all how [DEVICE] looks like,
    it only tells you how you can get a list of available devices.

    We also should change the output of scanimage -h:

    -d, --device-name=DEVICE use a given scanner device
          The format of DEVICE is backendname:devicefile (e.g. umax:/dev/scanner).

    In the manpage of xscanimage it is described correct, the output of
    xscanimage -h also should be changed like for scanimage.

    Henning, please would you add that to the TODO list?
