image defaults

    Hi !

    I've now full access to my scanner (thanks), moreover via xsane, as a gimp
    plugin :-)))

    Perhaps there are infographists on this lists, so I have a question for them...

    Please have a look at www.calvo-france.com/cacharel.jpg and tell me :
    - why do I obtain these dark spots (inside the red ellipse) when scanning
    - with the twain driver (under win, so), I had an option called "démoirer" in
    french, that allowed me to remove these spots when scanning. Sane doesn't have
    it (I'm not sure about that).
    - if i cannot do without it, how can i remove them with gimp ?
