    You want to hear something here ?
    OK, so let's go... ;-)
    I can't use my scanner with Linux...

    Here are the commands, and then the error message :
    (all is done by root)
    # /home/arnaud: xscanimage
    # /home/arnaud: scanimage -L
    # /home/arnaud: scanimage -T
    scanimage: error in loading shared libraries: libsane.so.1: cannot open shared
    object file: No such file or directory (same message for the 3 preceding
    commands)
    # /home/arnaud: ll /usr/local/lib/libsane.so.1
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 21 aoû 22 15:53
    /usr/local/lib/libsane.so.1 -> sane/libsane-dll.so.1*
    # /home/arnaud: ll /usr/lib/sane/libsane.so.1
    lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 18 aoû 30 17:33
    /usr/lib/sane/libsane.so.1 -> libsane-plustek.so*

    What can I do more ????
