Hi everyone.

Have installed glib 1.2.8 and gtk+-1.2.8 and attempted to install gimp 1.1.24
but with errors. has anyone got 1.1.24 working?

Now I go back to 1.1.21 and it tells me that gtk+1.2.7 is needed and I have
1.2.8 installed. I thought that 1.2.8 would be accepted as it is more recent
that 1.2.7.

Anyway, have just had to go back to the SuSE 6.4 distro rpm's of gimp 1.1.18
meanwhile.

Is there any way of rectifying this?

Thanks and I apologise for this disjointed post as many hours have been spent
under 'make' for too long!
