    Hi,

I recently buyed a Microtek ScanMaker X6. In "flatbed" mode
it works fine, if the width of the scan is less or equal
128 mm. Beginning with "-x 129" the scanned picture has
exchanged R-B-G in some way: red appears green, blue
appears red a.s.o. This happens with all resolutions (I
    tested 50 100 200 300 600 dpi).

The second problem is, the transparency adapter (TMA)
    doesn't work at all.

I use an Adaptec AIC-7850 PCI controller, there is no
ISA slot free for the 1505 adapter that came with the
scanner, but this seems to work fine.

This is what scanimage sais about the scanner:

      Vendor Name: ' '
      Model Name: 'Scanner 636A4 '
      Revision: '1.60'
      Model Code: 0x91 (X6)
      Device Type Code: 0x06 (Scanner),
      Scanner type: Flatbed scanner
Supported options: Automatic document feeder: Yes
                          Transparency media adapter: Yes
                          Auto paper detecting: No
                          Advanced picture system: No
                          Stripes: No
                          Slides: No
      Scan button: Yes

The backend version I use is pre0.8.161099 which came with
    sane 1.0.2.

Can anyone give me an advice ?
