Hi everyone

Still can't get gimp to recognise either xsane or xscanimage. I have the
correct link in my home plug-in directory but gimp tells me

~/.gimp-1.1/plug-ins/xscanimage: the gimp is using a newer version of the
plug-in protocol than this plug-in

The same when I try to link xsane.

In Xtns > device dialogue if I try to select anything the gimp rapidly
disappears from the screen!

Any ideas anyone?
