Hi everyone,

Today it is the "Burn all GIFs day".

I juts took a look about the GIF problem.
As far as I understand it, GIF is not the real problem,
the LZW compression is the problem.

So my question: what about TIFF and LZW compression.
- Is it necessary to remove the slection for LZW compression
for saveing TIFF files?
- Is it a problem to link against libtiff that includes the LZW compression algorithm?

Thanks for your comments.
Bye
Oliver
