Unexpected Win32 success story

Using the current CVS source, I was able to successfully configure and
compile SANE on Win32 using CygWin 20.1.

The DLL backend did not work (there where no .so.1 files), but the net
backend seems to work. I got the old 'major version mismatch' error,
as I'm trying to connect to an SANE 1.0.0 server, but I expect it to
work when I get another server with 1.0.1 source.

It seems like the porting will be a lot easier then I expected. All
that is left is to get the DLL backend to work. :-)
