As far as I remember,
I read recently on this list, that the 636 (SCSI) and X6 are actually have
the same firmware.

As the 636 is cheaper (including a transparency adaptor), I wondered if they
are similar or if they are exactly the same scanners.

I would like to hear any opinions on these scanners.
