I use the SANE package for my BW Quickcam, but I have some
trouble with the xcam frontend:
It works fine with settings of top-left-x > 0 but if I set this value
to zero the screen remains black ...
With xscanimage I could'nt see anything in the preview window (all black)
but if I scan (or mark a smaller frame of the whole picture (I don't
see:-)) in the preview window) I get usable output. This problem seems to
me connected to the xcam problem described before.
EXIT Problem: It is impossible to exit the program the normal way, if the
camery was started. If I use the EXIT menu or press 'Stop' the window
freezes an I can only get rid of it by killing it...
