That's very interesting indeed. I'd suspect the
command set of the 12000P to be identical to the
12000SP. So, if you already know precisely how the
transfer works you might try to incorporate that
into the mustek backend, maybe at first by
bypassing the general sane i/o but using quick and
dirty direct access to the parallel port.
