Hi,

Make sure you have permission to read/write from the scsi device, it should look
like this.

$ ls -l /dev/sc*
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root other 4 Sep 6 18:06 /dev/scanner -> scg0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 48 Sep 6 16:38 /dev/scg0 ->
../devices/sbus@1f,0/SUNW,fas@e,8800000/scg@5,0:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 53 Oct 11 10:56 /dev/scg1 ->
../devices/sbus@1f,0/dma@1,81000/esp@1,80000/scg@5,0:

$ ls -lL /dev/sc*
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 160, 1 Sep 6 16:38 /dev/scanner
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 160, 1 Sep 6 16:38 /dev/scg0
crw------- 1 root root 160, 2 Oct 11 10:56 /dev/scg1

/D.
