As much as I'd like the last option, I don't think it's appropriate -
I've never written a line of C, and I don't know a thing about scanner
libraries.
I'll have to wait and hope, but if there's a really good chance for it
to work, I would be willing to buy the scanner option and be a alpha- or
beta tester for the driver.
