Actually, there are several different adapters which ship with UMAX
scanners, and at least one of them may well be reasonably well
supported by the Linux 2.2 kernel -- Alan Cox got one working.
You wouldn't want to use one of these cards to talk to a hard drive
or other real SCSI equipment, though... :-)
