Dieter and the sane-developers:
I know it's not the most current hp driver, but I thought I'd report
that the hp backend in sane 0.72 works with the ScanJet 6200C/6250C that
we just bought. I haven't tested it extensively, yet.
This model reports itself over SCSI as follows:

Vendor: HP Model: C6270A Rev: 3824
Type: Processor ANSI SCSI revision: 02
Detected scsi generic sgb at scsi0, channel 0, id 5, lun 0
(scsi0:0:0:0) Synchronous at 20.0MHz, offset 8.

This is the 6250C, with the ADF, which doesn't work correctly, yet. If I
load a page, then user scanimage, it will feed the page in, scan a
single line, then feed it out, rather than scanning as it feeds. I'll
try the new driver, when I get a chance.

BTW, this model also has a USB port - something to look forward to
adding support for in the future;-)
