This means that the backend doesn't yet know this model, but it doesn't
mean that the backend does not work with it or can be made to work with
it.

Please download a newer version of the backend from

ftp://ftp.muc.de/people/bernds/mtek2/microtek2-pre0.5.150998.tar.gz .

Can you then add this model code 0x98 to the function check_inquiry() in
microtek2.c and tell us what happens then ? The backend should then
at least print some more information to stderr, that is necessary to tell
you more.
