New OS/2 frontend for SANE

Some days ago I published a first open beta version of a new OS/2 frontend for
SANE

Scan It/2 using SANE v0.90 beta
Scan It/2 is a native OS/2 PM frontend for SANE. Scan It/2 has a nice and easy
to use user interface including toolbar, preview window and drag'n'drop
support for easily aquiring images and save them in various file formats. Scan
It/2 was testetd in-house with Canon and Hewlett Packard scanners.
Some highlights of Scan It/2 are
* Sizeable preview window
* Individual resolution and mode of preview scan
* Drag'n'Drop support: drag a selection from the preview window to scan an
image
* Support for extended settings like contrast, brightness, gamma correction
(if supported by attached scanner)
* Save images in various file formats: Bitmap, TIFF, JPEG, PNM
* Batch processing: drag and drop multiple selections from the preview
window onto a batch processing window and process the scans in a batch
* Toolbar for quick access to the most used functions
* All needed run-time files included (ASPI Router, EMX runtime, SANE library)
* English and german language files and online help
* Installation and deinstallation program
Currently I'm working on zoom functionality for the preview preview window and
printing support.
Please note: this beta version of Scan It/2 will cease function at 98/08/31.
Version 1.0 will be distributed as shareware.
