I read the recent article on SANE in the Linux Journal, and would love
to see a 'backend' implemented for my Fujifilm DS-7 Digital camera.
I tried last year (without success) to get the protocol
specifications for its RS232C interface without much luck...
... admittedly I didn't try very hard.
I have just sent an email to ei@mindspring.com,
the address given for comments/feedback on the
http://www.fujifilm.com site
and am waiting for a reply (I'm not holding my breath).
I'll let you know what happens. If I am able to get this
information then I would appriciate any help in writing
the driver.
