find-scanner ?

Hello all !

Ok, the following i have:

- Sparc IPX (arch 4c)
- Solaris 2.5.1 installed
- gtk0.97 installed
- gimp installed
- scg-driver by J.Schilling installed
- sane-0.72 compiled and installed
- Scanner is a Mustek MFS-12000 SP Firm.rev. 1.07 (should work)
- termination of the scanner is ok (i think)

'probe-scsi' in the boot-monitor recognizes the Mustek.

Problem is that 'find-scanner -v' finds nothing at all, no disks,
no scanner, nothing.

If i type './find-scanner -v /dev/scg0' it gives 'found disk" " at
/dev/scg0' , but no letters at all.

Another thing:

Debugging on one of the sane-progs doesn't work, means that
there are no reports shown.

Any tips ?

TIA and greetings J.P.Meyer
