Patch 2 for SnapScan backend version 0.3

I've placed a second patch for version 0.3 of the snapscan backend at
http://www.cs.ualberta.ca/~charter/snapscan.html. This fixes some
problems that the backend causes in scanimage. Patch 1, available at the
same place, must be applied first.
