Comment out the line `pnm' in /usr/local/etc/sane.d/dll.conf. See
sane-dll(5) for details (this works only if dynamic loading is
supported on your platform; if that is not the case, you'd have to
change macro PRELOADABLE_BACKENDS in backend/Makefile.in to list
precisely the backends you want and then reconfigure and rebuild
SANE).
