One person has reported having such a scanner, but could not get it to
work (yet). The problem looks like a setup problem, though, not a
problem with the backend per se. If you have such a scanner (or if
somebody else has one), I'd love to hear how/if it's working.
Before experimenting with this, be sure to read the file PROBLEMS in
the SANE distribution (I don't expect problems, but better to play it
safe...)
