I am the programmer of the versions 0.5.1 - 0.5.4 (and now 0.5.5)
of the UMAX scanner driver and I am proud to say ;-) that
the first version of a SANE-backend for umax scanners is finished.
I think it would be nice if it could be included direct
into SANE.
It is based on sane-0.57 so I hope it can be included into
sane-0.58 without any changes.
Could someone tell me what to do and where to upload it.
